Get Sophie Habboo's style with Eliza by Josephine Scott

Everyone’s been raving over the two weddings of Sophie Habboo and Jamie Laing and we can see why! Originally famous from their time on the reality show ‘Made in Chelsea’ the couple are now most known for their comedy podcast ‘Nearly Weds’.

ABOUT THE COUPLE

After their engagement in December 2021, the couple soon started a podcast called Nearly Weds last May to share their wedding planning journey with the world and it soon became a chart favourite with some saying it was ‘the funniest podcast ever’. Every week a new episode came out featuring special guests, funny wedding stories and even a few lover's tiffs! That’s why when they finally tied the knot on the 19th of May, there were queues of people waiting to see all the details - including us!

THE TWO WEDDINGS

Sophie and Jamie officially tied the knot in a registry office in Chelsea Old Town on the 14th of April. Sophie wore a stunning short dress by Vera Waing. The dress was similar to those worn by Kourtney ‘Kardashian or Lily Ellen on their wedding days. This was seen as their ‘smaller’ wedding, with only their nearest and dearest attending.

The pair then had their ‘big destination wedding’ in Marbella in Spain on the 20th May. Sophie and Jamie said their vows in front of there friends and family in a stunning 5* hotel, equipped with its own spa and private beach. The couple, like many, went through a lot of stress when planning the wedding, even more so as they chose to have over 200 guests! They were very open about the ups and down of wedding planning on their podcast, something that a lot of people connected with.

THE DETAILS:

Her dress was designed by bespoke English bridal designer Emma Beaumont. She wore a traditional gown, chic off the shoulder sleeves, a corset bodice and asymmetric hemline. She paired it with a white veil -  which she kept over her face whilst walking down the aisle - and satin heels.

She wore her hair in a delicate slicked-back bun done by @willisgalbraithhair accentuating her gorgeous makeup. The wedding was captured by photographer Phoebe Piper (@phoebepiperphoto) and the couple has already begun sharing some of her snaps from the day.

The wedding certainly lived up to all of our expectations, and we can see many summer brides getting inspiration from Sophie and Jamie.
